Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Guza account or using any part of the Guza platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Guza provides an e-commerce platform enabling merchants to create online stores, list products, and receive orders via WhatsApp. Guza acts as a technology provider only — we are not a party to any transaction between merchants and their customers.

3. Merchant Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your store. You must not share your login credentials. Guza reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to sell counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods. You agree not to misrepresent products, prices, or your identity. You agree not to abuse, spam, or harass customers or other merchants.

5. Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (product images, descriptions, etc.). By uploading content you grant Guza a licence to display it as part of the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Payments & Fees

The Free plan is free forever. Paid plans are billed monthly in UGX. Guza does not process customer payments — all transactions are settled directly between merchants and customers (cash on delivery). Guza charges no transaction fees.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Guza may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your store and data will be removed from the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." Guza is not liable for any losses arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, revenue, or orders. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you paid to Guza in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

Guza may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala, Uganda.
